WHAT DOES IT COST You are probably asking yourself what all this must cost. Your monthly rental covers just about everything necessary for everyday life: heating, lighting, food, council-tax and maintenance. There is no service charge. The only essential that you will have to provide for yourself is a telephone. Every apartment has a BT point, but it is up to you to arrange connection and to pay the quarterly charge. |

On signing the agreement, you pay a deposit of six months rental. This remains with the Owner until you leave the house, when it is repaid to you or to your descendants. As stated before, the actual price per month depends upon how much space you need. 2006 prices range from £1,400 for a small studio apartment to £3,600 for a two-bedroom apartment spread over two floors. Any rental increases are limited to the annual increase in the Average Earnings Index. To find out more, contact us. |
